TallyTab can only read
The connection to your bank is read-only. TallyTab can see balances and transactions and nothing else. It cannot make a payment, and no part of the app has ever been built to.
Before you connect a bank
You are being asked to connect a bank account to a small British app. Here is exactly what that means.
Withdraw access any time. It expires after 90 days unless you renew it.
What this means
The connection to your bank is read-only. TallyTab can see balances and transactions and nothing else. It cannot make a payment, and no part of the app has ever been built to.
Open banking access is provided by Yapily Connect Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 827001. Your bank credentials are entered on your bank's own site. TallyTab never sees them.
UK open banking consents last 90 days, then your bank stops sharing until you renew. TallyTab tells you before that happens, and you can end a connection whenever you like.
TallyTab does not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or profile you. Nobody pays to see what you spend. The subscription is the whole business model.
Your data is stored in the United Kingdom on Supabase, encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is scoped to your account at the database level, not merely in the app.
Every account can export its full record and can permanently delete the account and its data from inside the app. Neither is behind a subscription.
Your control
TallyTab is operated by Datavise Limited, registered in Scotland (SC817715).
